so remember way back in the beginning of season 2 of TWD, when Carl is like on the brink of death from the gunshot and so Otis and Shane go off to get supplies. But they’re being chased by a horde so Shane shoots Otis and he gets away. He brings back the supplies and Carl is fine. One life was taken so another could begin. Sound familiar?
Try Lost Season 1, Boone dies and Shannon’s baby is born. I didn’t watch the rest of the series, so lol, I dk what happens, but still, one life for another.
I’m not saying that this idea of sharing lives in a volatile society is a bad one, just an interesting parallel.
